ProLiant ML350 G5 with SCSI disk error "rate too high" on Linux

Hi, I´m seeding some messages from the kernel for quite some time, just in one hard disk in a ML350 G5 server:

sd 4:0:4:0: [sdb] Add. Sense: Data channel impending failure data error rate too high
sd 4:0:4:0: [sdb] Sense Key : Recovered Error [current]
sd 4:0:4:0: [sdb] Add. Sense: Data channel impending failure data error rate too high
sd 4:0:4:0: [sdb] Sense Key : Recovered Error [current]
sd 4:0:4:0: [sdb] Add. Sense: Data channel impending failure data error rate too high
sd 4:0:4:0: [sdb] Sense Key : Recovered Error [current]

Does anyone have any clue about this? I couldn´t find anything in Google or in the forums. The disk seems OK but the message is very annoying.

This is the disk:

scsi 4:0:4:0: Direct-Access COMPAQ BD30088279 HPB0 PQ: 0 ANSI: 3
target4:0:4: Beginning Domain Validation
target4:0:4: Domain Validation skipping write tests
target4:0:4: Ending Domain Validation
target4:0:4: FAST-160 WIDE SCSI 320.0 MB/s DT IU QAS RTI WRFLOW PCOMP (6.25 ns, offset 63)

My kernel is 2.6.22.1-41.fc7. I´m running Fedora Core 7. I´m attaching a complete dmesg from the server.

Hello Augusto,

Update the firmware for the HDD.

If Issue persists, replace Disk.

James.
