ProLiant ML350 G6
Hi all,
I have just run the support pack psp-9.10.w2k8.i386 against one of our test servers.
This server has 5 SAS disks installed on the internal P410i raid controller.
2 disks are in a mirror and 3 in a RAID 5 configuration. 1 logical drive per array.
The first logical drive has the OS installed which is Windows 2008 SP2.
The second logical drive has 2 partitions of equal size to contain data. (This is a replica of all our remote site servers)
Once the support pack had finished installing it rebooted after stating that all components had updated successfully.
However when I logon to the server I can no longer access the 2 partitions on the second logical drive. If i try and open the D or E drive I get access denied.
The ACU for the P410i controller states that SAS-Array B - Logical Drive 2 is Unknown / No access.
This has only happened following the installation of the support pack.
Has anyone seen this before?
How do I get access back to the second array/logical drive?
This is something I need sorting so that I can update the other 39 remote site servers.

No idea what happened, but I would install a more current support pack first.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: ProLiant ML350 G6
Thanks for the quick reply Torsten.
Interesting as that is the one that was given to me by the HP website when I put in the server and OS!
I will take another look and see if there is a later support pack then.
