ProLiant ML350 connection speed

I can only configure the NIC to 10 Mbps (Full or Half duplex) in order to get stable network connection, Whenever I configure it to Auto-mode or 100 Mbps, the network connection becomes very unstable (It has 2 or 3 connection drops for every 6 or 7 successful PING).

These are the possibilities:

Incorrect NIC driver installed

Defective NIC

Incompatibility with the hub port

Defective hub port

Defective wiring (older CAT3 wireing will work at 10Mbps while unreliable at 100Mbps)
