ProLiant ML370G3, 5400 RAID and Win2000

I'm pretty familiar with older Compaq servers, array controllers, WinNT4 and Win2000. My company has just bought an ML370 with 5400 array, 3x 72Gb disks and Win2000. We want to install the system to allow extra disks to be added to extend what will be the D: drive. The issue is that Win2000 needs to have dynamic disks to span a partition over multiple "physical" units, it is not possible to make the disk with the OS on a dynamic disk and I can't see a way of telling the array controller to split the RAID5 array into two logical disks, one of 8Gb and the other 132Gb.
Has anyone found a way to do this, or got any sensible suggestions - with cashflow tight I'm not in a position to buy 2 more disks just for the OS to sit on.

Thanks in advance

My mistake, it's a 5304 array controller

Well, much to my embarrassment I have solved the problem myself by using the Array Config tool on SmartStart to configure the array / logical drives rather than use the BIOS configuration.
