ProLiant Ml110 G2, W2K server, network driver
ProLiant ML110 G2, Windows 2000 Server.
I tried to install the driver from HP drivers site
http://h18023.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/download/22931.html
unfortunately, this driver does not install.
Either running the exe nor from system->device manager->update driver
What driver to use with W2K server?
Is there any tricks to know about when installing this driver?
Do I have to enable/change something in BIOS to be able to use network?
for now everything is default - new machine out of box. Only I enabled Floppy to install SATA RAID controller driver with F6.

Raigo,
That is the correct driver.
Can you provide the details about the installation failure?
What error message are you receiving?

Re: ProLiant Ml110 G2, W2K server, network driver
When I try to install network driver, what is available in HP drivers web, I get error:
The software will not be installed on this system because the required hardware is not present in the system or the software/firmware doesn't apply to this system.
Is it possible that network card is disabled in BIOS by default? where?

Re: ProLiant Ml110 G2, W2K server, network driver
Raigo,
The ML110 uses an onboard NIC that is not supported with HP's standard NC series NIC drivers.
The ML110 uses an Intel 82541PI chipset.
Here is a link to the W2k3 driver.
http://h18023.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/download/22856.html
If that doesn't work for you, you can try the driver from Intel:

Best regards,
-sean
