ProLiant Ml350 boot / recovery

I have recently received the ProLiant Ml350, as i work in resale. It was working , but now its keep trying to boot at all the passes and gets stuck trying to boot from DHCP.  On a tartup after pressing F9 and advanced options,  then restore default system settings and restore settings/erase boot disk were performed. What to do to bring it back to life? I need boot CD OR USB!?

Re: ProLiant Ml350 boot / recovery

When the erase disk is done, the RAID configuration information is removed and hence, first configure the array and re-install the operating system.

Observe the server when it POSTs for any POST error messages. If there are no POST errors, they login to the server’s iLO and check for any hardware errors logged.

If none found, then use the HP SmartStart CD and boot from it confirm that the server boots from a bootable media. If so, then you may use it to configure the RAID array and start installing supported operating system.
