After BIOS-Update, my PC says at boot up "Error Code 1611: Fan not present - shuting down." On this machine was never a cpu cooler with a fan attached only a heat sink.

Any ideas?

Hi,

Reboot the system and select F10 to configure system. Use control + A to get
into the advanced settings. Choose to configure settings, then view and edit details and page down twice. The select
"clearn NVRam (non volital ram memory) and
save and exit. Reboot and the bios should
prompt you to allow the system to autoconfigure the server. This will request
that you reboot again, but it should come back up fine.
