ProSignia 720 On Board Video Disable Does Not Work

Why oh why can I not disable this 256 color driver?

I have set the jumper to on, disabled in BIOS.

Nothing works.

Hello JD,
Please update the system bios first and then try running the latest System configuration Utility. See if that helps otherwise you may be looking at replacing the system BD unfortunately. Just make sure you put back the jumper to it's original position before doing the upgrades. Here is the link to update the system bios as well the system configuration utility:

Hello JD,
Just correcting myself by saying that it's the Feature Bd which has the SW1(Switch no 1) which could be faulty. Please ignore where I said System Bd in my previous response. If you would like I can email you the Service Guide for the server. Just provide me with your email address.

Thanks for the reply, I have installed latest BIOS - 4-22-2000.

I have looked at the manual, set the jumer to switch 1 on. No success.

How much is a server feature board?

Ok, so, the AGP slot is not active, so all I gotta do is add a PCI based video card and I'm good to go?
