Problem Detecting Compaq DLT 35/70
I have a DL580 with quad xeon 700mhz processors and over 4 gig of RAM. I have installed a Compaq 3200 Array controller and connected the internal drive cage to it. I have removed the internal cable and terminator off the integrated controller.
My problem is that when I connect a tape drive to the integrated Array controller the tape drive is not detected at boot time on the bios or under the OS.
I have replaced the Tape Drive and changed the scsi id with no success.
Any Ideas?

Re: Problem Detecting Compaq DLT 35/70
Are you installing this INTERNALLY on that controller (not supported)? If so, remove the integrated array controller module and then try the DLT.

Re: Problem Detecting Compaq DLT 35/70
Have you found the solution for your problem? In the same configuration I got bus termination error from SystemConfigurationUtility, and server cannot find DLT 35/70.
