Problem adding PCI Video Card

I have been trying to add this nVidia Geforce 2 MX 400 PCI video card to my system. I've disabled the onboard video via the switch on the mother board and installed the latest XP drivers from the nVidia web site. After Windows XP boots to the desktop a couple minutes later the screen is all scrambled. Can anybody help? Also I would like to know the hotkey to get into the bios?

i know that xp had issues with geforce 256 drivers but a latest rom flash of the video card solved that...I cannot guarantee this will work but it might be worth a shot..also check nvidia's site..there might be xp issues with this card ...
