Problem after installing RIB
My system is configured with SmartStart 5.20, and works fine, but after install a Insight Manager Card they show two video drivers ATI Rage IIC, and one of them show an error: cannot start driver.
I know RIB has its own video adapter but i don't understand why the two video adapters collide.
TIA

Re: Problem after installing RIB
Windows 2000 is picking up both video cards. Ths is normal. Disable the one that is showing the error in Device Manager.

Re: Problem after installing RIB
Hi Mark..
I am having the exact problem. I have disabled the one that gives the error, and also had to cut back the 3D acceleration through the Display properties. Can you by any chance tell me why exactly this is necessary or is it a misconfiguration on my part? My setup is the same as above... Thanks
Eric

Re: Problem after installing RIB
This is happening due to the on-board video having the same memory range as the RIB video and hence the conflict.
