Problem in installing OS using ISO
Hi
I have 2 new ML370G5 servers. I am trying to load an OS remotely through ILO using an ISO image. In ILO I have specified virtual CDROM to boot an ISO image but both servers stuckup while attempting to boot from CDROM. I tried to update the BIOS also from the same method but issue still remains the same.
Checked the ISO image , it is getting extracted properly.
Please advice

Re: Problem in installing OS using ISO
hi
- any error on ilo event log?
- have you try different clients to load ilo homepage and iso image?
- do you have the correct JRE 1.4.2 on your clients machines
http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.2/download.html
- this is an Customer Advisory, but you already have the latest Firmware version 1.35 right? just in case update BIOS also
http://urlao.com/vmilo
- have you tried another image? smartstart image (iso)?
- also dont use the iso image for both server at the same time
- and why if you try burning an image and run the CD instead of the image
regards
