Problem install DAT

I can't install DAT in SCO Unix 5.0.5
I use driver "clad" (and try with "cha") but nothing
I have ML370 with array module. In port 1 have DAT 12/24 in ID 6. In port 2 have 3 HD of 18.2 Gb in raid 5

Re: Problem install DAT

The Raid on a Chip that is installed in the ML370 does not support tape drives in a SCO Unix environment. You will need to install a standard SCSI-II or SCSI-3 controller into an available slot and connect the tape drive to the other SCSI controller. Then install the SCO 5.0.x driver for the SCSI controller that is being used for the tape drive. Link a new kernel and boot to this kernel so the new SCSI controller is in use by th OS. Then install the generic DAT tape drive that ships with the SCO Unix OS. Make sure you select the correct controller number, LUN number and SCSI ID when you install the DAT tape drive into the OS using the "mkdev tape" command.

Re: Problem install DAT

I made it work with the integrated controller. With the DAT connected
in Port 1 and with the following configuration:
ha=0 bus=2 ID=6 lun=0
