Problem of overheating
I have a problem with proliant ML330 G2 on Insight Manager. The error message said :
"Storage System temperature degraded. The agent has detected a temperature status that has been set to degraded. The storage system`s temperature is outside of the normal operating range."
But I don't know if it is really a problem of temperature because the CPU is cold (45? C) & the box too (35? C). What are the Operating range?
Is it only a need of update (BIOS, ?) or something else?
If anybody already have this problem please answer me.

Re: Problem of overheating
Bios upgrading could definitely by a solution. Also you could run diagnostics make sure the CSP has been updated.

Re: Problem of overheating
Ok, thank you for the information. I also want to know what are the operating range of this 3 status :
(1) Temperature monitoring is not supported by this system or it is not supported by the driver. Ok
(2) The temperature is within normal operating range. Degraded
(3) The temperature is outside of normal operating range. Failed
Thank you
