Problem: "Tape Options ROMPaq" and a fatal error with a SP

Server: ProLiant ML530 with Novell 4.11
Tape Unit: 12/24-GB DAT
Current ROM rev DDS-3 (C1537A) 4.05

I need to install SP11662 because I have a problem with tape unit and I think that this SP may fix it.
BUT, when I try to install it (SP11662) the server say: "A fatal error occurred while attempting to flash the firmware" and I can't install it.
What can I do?
