Problem running perceus on DL140G3
Hello folks
We are trying to start up a bunch of DL140G3 machines using perceus (linux cluster deployment from perceus.org). Perceus uses kexec to start the final kernel and this stage fails on our 140s. Worth mentioning is that the DL380G5s in the same system works fine.
Has anyone seen something like this before? Any hints on how to debug it? Since it seems 140 specific maybe theres a bios-option or something...
tia,
Peter

Re: Problem running perceus on DL140G3
As much as I hate to reply to myself...
The problem was solved by using a el5 kernel in perceus stage1 instead of the standard perceus 2.6.19/20 kernel which doesn't seem to like dl140g3s at all.
case closed,
Peter
