Problem to access the data in HP Proliant DL380 G6

Hi,

This is vipin here, last couple of days we are facing a problem with our HP server to access the data, below mentioned are the issues kindly share your thoughts and suggesstions to come out from the situation and recover the data.

1. initially it was showing error message( attempting to boot from hard disk (C:), missing operating system.

2. after restoring the operating system, logical drive was disabled, when it was enabled it is showing the logical drive but when  i click on that it is showing a dialog box saying format disk.

i am attaching the images herewith the above mentioned.

Regards

Vipin

Hi VIPIN.

I can see one of the HDD is faulty from the attached photos.

Could you tell me what was the configuration of the HDDs?

System was in RAID 1?

Disk D was configured on different set of drives (RAID) ?

Regards,

Piotr

Have you run ILO or the Array Configuration Utility to check the status of the array? The amber LED indicates a fault (check the Maintenace Guide for fault codes). Is the drive with no LEDs on a spare?
