Problem to add a hotspare disk on a proliant dl380 g4

I have a DL380 G4 with smart array 5i
I have 3 disk in raid 5 (position 0,1 and 2)
I just add the same disk on the position 3

In the smart array appliction i can see as well the disk on the position 3 but not the options to configure it as a hotspare disk!!!

do i use the soft Smartstart for the modifications ?

Run the array config utility, select the configuration wizards, click on spare management, then walk through the wizard to add the drive as a hotspare.
