Problem with Compaq services
The following services is impossible to start:
Compaq Server Agents
Compaq Foundation Agents (depending on Compaq Server Agents)
Compaq Web Agent (depending on Compaq Server Agents)
Any ideas why? What do they do? Do I need then?
Best regards
Per-Ola

Re: Problem with Compaq services
The SNMP and SNMP Trap services must be running to support the agents. The agents support SNMP between the server and your Insight Manager console for pre-failure notification and remote monitoring/management. The Web Agent allows you to remotely access the server via a browser (http://servername:2301).
