Problem with DL320 G6
Somebody can help me took out a new server HP Proliant dl320 G6 out of the box, turned it on and found a problem. On the front panel lights solid orange led on the site of one of the hard drives, disc changers out nothing changes. there is a picture. the HP Array Configuration Utility there is not any error messages.

Hi,
This could be either firmware or hardware.
First things first, update the bios and the controller firmware.
If that does not work, update the HDD firmware.
If this does not solve your problem, this could be the controller, the cables or the backplane.
Check the controller or the backplane by crossing the SAS cables over at either the backplane or controller end.
Swapping both ends over will prove whether it's a SAS cable or its seating.
Don't just trust the LEDs with the cables temporarily crossed but check with the ACU also to be certain.
