Re: Problem with DL320 G6

Hi,

This could be either firmware or hardware.

First things first, update the bios and the controller firmware.

If that does not work, update the HDD firmware.

If this does not solve your problem, this could be the controller, the cables or the backplane.

Check the controller or the backplane by crossing the SAS cables over at either the backplane or controller end.

Swapping both ends over will prove whether it's a SAS cable or its seating.

Don't just trust the LEDs with the cables temporarily crossed but check with the ACU also to be certain.

Hope this helps

Cheers

Leon
