Problem with Intelligent Provisioning on DL380 G8
Hi,
I am currently trying to get a server built for a new SQL install. Just to give forewarning, I am not particularly expert in server provisioning.
Configured the arrays, copied server 2008R2 onto a usb stick, booted into IP1.60 and started the install.
All was fine until an error around licence key which, after a bit of snooping around, is apparently a known issue in v1.60.
I downloaded the IP 1.50 recovery media, created the USB key which, after a bit of messing about, seemed to flash fine on the server. Rebooted and now when I try to go into the 1.50 IP menu to start the 2008 R2 install again, it starts to boot fine, then crashes out into linux with a 'warning unable to mount the filesystem dropping to a shell /bin/ash: cant access tty: job control turned off'
In a word, help!
Thanks

Re: Problem with Intelligent Provisioning on DL380 G8
Just to resolve this, after trying the whole process again, to show a colleague where it went wrong, sod's law engaged and everything worked fine.
