Problem with external back-up with my ML570 Proliant G4

This have all the light flashing in the back-up tape drive and the server said that this is off-line.

Find the documentation of the tape drive and see what "all lights flashing" means with that tape drive model.

 

Since you did not specify the model of the drive, it's kind of difficult for anyone here on the forums to do it for you.
