Problem with hp dl360e g8 and windows server install
I got a hp dl360e g8 server(with xenserver on midle )and i try ti install windows server 2016 Essential in a virtual machine .
On windows startup load screen i get this error "Failed BIOS Lock This instalation media may used only on hardware manufactured by : Hewlett packard Please contact your hardware manufacturer for support "
Were is the problem...?

Seems your Windows media is BIOS-locked (OEM/ROK) and so will only install directly on the server.
I know in VMware there is a workaround that allowes the Windows installer to "see" the actual BIOS string and install.
I am not aware of a similar workaraound for Xen.
