Problem with my drive array 5300


Whew! Now that I got that off my chest...

I periodically get Blue Screen Traps in NT4 (NT Bug Checks) which cause my server to reboot. When I look in the compaq Intergated server log I see that these errors happened in this order
1) Blue Screen Trap (NT Bugcheck Data = STOP 00000077 00000103 00000001 0007E000)
2) ASR detected by ROM
3) 1785 Drive Array not configured
4) 1792 Valid Data Found in Array
5) 1775 Proliant Storage System Not Responding

I am running NT4w/sp6a, Exchange 55 w/groupshield, GuardIT, dual 1ghz processors and 1GB ram with a compaq 110/220 sdlt (currently not being used - no software), compaq array 5300 (fw1.28) 2 compaq gigabit NICs and one compaq fast ethernet nic.

Today I went into the server room to change the tapes in my other servers and saw this error: invalid system disk press anykey to continue and had to turn off the server and back on (it came up ok).

So far this has happened twice (5/6/01 and today 5/30/01) . So far I haven't put any softpaqs or rompaqs on it. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

sounds pretty much like an SA problem. Run diag, survey and inspect and contact Compaq customer support.... :-((
