Problem with seeing files when attempting 2008 R2 install via usb or network share
I am attempting to install from network share or USB key using smartstart 8.30. Installing Windows 2008 Standard R2 using both iso or flat file is failing. The problem is I can see the windows 2008 installation folder structure from within smartstart in both the iso and flat file sources used, but not any individual files. All folders are empty. In the case of network share the address is \mount, in the case of the USB drive the address is \mount\usb0. I cannot seem to modify this path manually either. Am I missing something?
Installation with DVD media works fine.

It's obvious that smartstart v8.30 CD claims to support Windows 2008 R2, but apparently there are a LOT of glitches when trying to install looking at the number of recent complaints (even with using the DVD method). The last entry indicates that HP will be fixing things in the next version of SmartStart 8.x or 9 or 10, etc, etc. I will wait until then to see what HP does and just continue with DVD media only. Too bad, using a network install when installing several servers would be VERY nice.
