Problems disabling the embedded Graphics card on a DL380

I'm installing an NVIDIA GeForce 2MX graphics card in a DL380 and would like to disable the embedded ATI rage IIC card. I have disabled it using the internal switch, but when I try to disable it in the bios (using the Compaq System Configuration Utility V2.58A), it gives me a message along the lines of ' Unable to change setting. Correct setting is automatically detected by the utility'. Any suggestions of why this may be would be greatly appreciated.

as long as it is disabled via switch 1 on the bank of six switches you should be ok - once you've disabled it run system config and save changes

hope this helps (only normally disable graphics when installing rib board)
