Problems running RAID Controller P420 on Linux Ubuntu 20.04

Hello.

Adding this repo to my Ubuntu 20.04 desktop:

# cat /etc/apt/sources.list.d/hpe.list
deb http://downloads.linux.hpe.com/SDR/repo/mcp bionic/current non-free

could install  ssa, ssacli and ssaducli tools in my system.

Now I can see the 8 4TB disks connected:

# ssacli ctrl all show config

Smart Array P420 in Slot 4 (sn: PDSXK0BRH5W034)
HP SAS Expander Card at Port 1I, Box 1, OK
Port Name: 1I
Port Name: 2I

Unassigned

physicaldrive 1I:1:0 (port 1I:box 1:bay 0, SATA HDD, 4 TB, OK)
physicaldrive 1I:1:0 (port 1I:box 1:bay 0, SATA HDD, 4 TB, OK)
physicaldrive 1I:1:0 (port 1I:box 1:bay 0, SATA HDD, 4 TB, OK)
physicaldrive 1I:1:0 (port 1I:box 1:bay 0, SATA HDD, 4 TB, OK)
physicaldrive 1I:1:0 (port 1I:box 1:bay 0, SATA HDD, 4 TB, OK)
physicaldrive 1I:1:0 (port 1I:box 1:bay 0, SATA HDD, 4 TB, OK)
physicaldrive 1I:1:0 (port 1I:box 1:bay 0, SATA HDD, 4 TB, OK)
physicaldrive 1I:1:0 (port 1I:box 1:bay 0, SATA HDD, 4 TB, OK)

Expander 380 (WWID: 500143801174B426, Port: 1I, Box: 1)

HP SAS Expander Card SEP 378 (WWID: 500143801174B425, Port: 1I, Box: 1)

SEP (Vendor ID PMCSIERA, Model SRCv8x6G) 379 (WWID: 5001438028F5637F)

But all of them appear exactly with same physicaldrive "1I:1:0".

I was able to mount a RAID0 with a single disk, using this command:

# ssacli ctrl slot=4 create type=ld drives=1I:1:0 raid=0

Now I can see a /dev/sda device:

# cat /proc/partitions
major minor #blocks name

259 0 250059096 nvme2n1
259 1 524288 nvme2n1p1
259 2 249533440 nvme2n1p2
259 3 976762584 nvme0n1
259 4 976761543 nvme0n1p1
259 5 976762584 nvme1n1
259 6 976761543 nvme1n1p1
8 0 3906985816 sda

But If I try to do the same with other different physicaldrives, is simply dont work:

# ssacli ctrl slot=4 create type=ld drives=1I:1:1 raid=0

Error: Cannot create/modify the array. Cannot select physical drive 1I:1:1

Maybe is something related with a missing firmware, so I downloaded this file:

found here:

Converted to debian package using alien, you can check contents installed:

But after rebooting the system, all physicaldrive are still wrong (1I:1:0).

Can somebody help with this? This is my first time working with a RAID controller.
Tnk!!
