Problems with DL120 G5 and PS2 keyboard on Debian Linux

I'm having problems with HP ProLiant DL120 G5 and keyboard.
After compiling new kernel, PS2 keyboard (same for usb) does not work. The system boots ok but keyboard does not respond.
But with generic kernel 2.6.18-6-686 #1 SMP from Debian 4.0r5 i386 cd everything works ok.
Here is what I found in dmesg.

With generic kernel:
PNP: No PS/2 controller found. Probing ports directly.
serio: i8042 AUX port at 0x60,0x64 irq 12
serio: i8042 KBD port at 0x60,0x64 irq 1

With new kernel:
PNP: No PS/2 controller found. Probing ports directly.
serio: i8042 KBD port at 0x60,0x64 irq 1

Somehow AUX port is not detected. I've tried different kernels and configurations:
linux-2.6.18.8
linux-2.6.26.8
linux-2.6.28.1

I've even tried to compile everything from Input device support and Character devices, with no success.

I'm not using RAM disk, so I have to compile everything into kernel.

Another odd problem I had with this server was 3-4min delay at GRUB Stage 1.5. I haven't solved this problem so I have to use LILO now.

Problem with the grub delay disappears if you unplug the blue ODD1 sata cable from the motherboard or the cdrom.
Have anyone have any idea why is this?
