Problems with Hdisks and UID button

I have a proliant DL380 G6. My problem is:
The leds of the Hard Disks (array 4 disks, in a type 5) are in blue color, i press the button UID for change to color green, and no change. How can resolve?.
The server are working fine, but in the future...im thinking how identificate a Hard Disk. I used the HP instant Manager and no resolve.

Re: Problems with Hdisks and UID button

Hi!

All the HDD's LEDs are blue and they blink at the same time since the server power up?
Are they SAS HDDs? Is there any lower on the server's performance? What OS are you using?

Re: Problems with Hdisks and UID button

It's right all the HDD's LEDs are blue and they blink at the same time since the server power up. Don't have problem in performance.
I'm using HDDs SAS Model HP EF0300FATFD
The OS is Windows 2003 server X64

The UID button is for the server front and back lights not for the disks.

You change the UID of the disks in ACU. Run ACU and select each disk and change the ID status.
