Processor Failed
Everything was going ok, quad processors no problem. Now I get an error 212 processor 2 failed (slot 10). I tryed swapping the cpus on the same card....same error not the cpu. Next I tryed swapping the cpu boards...same error not the board. Everything boots up after pressing f1 to continue, aside from the missing cpu.
I'm at a loss...any ideas.

Re: Processor Failed
Make sure anytime you swap processors, clear NVRAM by going to the SCU ( hard drive or diskettes). Clearing NVRAM from the switch on a proliant 5000 (200 MHZ)
sometimes does not clear the configuration. If this error still in the logs, it might come back everytime you reboot the server.
If you swap the processors , clear NVRAM and the error follows one the processor,
try changing that processor.

Re: Processor Failed
How do I clear the NVRAM?
