Processor Upgrade

I have a Pentium III 550mhz processor in this server. Can I upgrade it to a P3 800mhz processor? And/Or can I add a second P3 550mhz processor?

The server can be upgraded to an 800MHz processor by replacing the existing 500MHz processor. You can only use dual processors when you are running at 800MHz or above.

I tried to upgrade to a P3-800 processor,but I got an "Unsupported Processor Type" message.
Is there any kind of firm ware upgrade that needs to be done so the new processor can be supported. I did the same upgrade on an identical server with no problems at all.

I also had the same problem, namely an "unsupported processor" error when trying to configure a dual-processor system. I got round this by removing the second processor and flashing the BIOS with the latest ROMPAQ, then replacing the second processor.
