Processor compatibility question in ML110 G3 Server
I have a ML110 G3 server, which you try to install a Pentium EE 840 and switched on, fans turn on their team's maximum RPM and red LED indicates a hardware problem flared after 3 seconds . I wonder if there is any way to make it work, since I read that the chipset (E7230) if it supports this type of processors.
Test the process on another computer and it works perfectly and I tried updating the BIOS and the fault persists.

Re: Processor compatibility question in ML110 G3 Server
Thank you for your prompt response. I note that there is a list of processors supported by this team, however, such dimensions in the previous post, according to the Intel site to install the processor should be compatible. now my question is this: There is some sort of restriction or limitation on the computer that prevents the use of such processors?
