Processors
I have a customer who has a Proliant 5500 with two Pentium Pro 200 processors installed. It has a history or its second processor failling. We have replaced at least three processors over the past three years. Also when we have removed the Dual processor board we have found that the component C269 had blown. This has happened on two processor boards which we have had to replace. Has anyone seen this problem before and any ideas as to what could be the cause of the problem.
Many Thanks

Re: Processors
Hello,
i would be considering updating the System BIOS by downloading appropriate SW from our web site. Did you try swapping the defective CPU with the one which functioning. How about the PPM(Processor Power Module).
