Product Number / ID
Hi there,
I am looking for an easy way to get the product number for all of my DL380Gx servers. I can not find this via win32_systeminfo or any other WMI Queries. Also I have SIM installed and can not find product number eather. I need this as I need to do an audit of over 650 HP Servers that we have all in remote locations so getting this product ID off of the chasis would not be possible.
is there any script or tool from HP I can use in order to get this information?
any help would be greatly appreciated.
thx

Re: Product Number / ID
You can get product number with "Diagnostics for Windows" If not installed get it http://h18000.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/download/23015.html
Run c:\windows\cpqdiag.exe , when procedure complete exit with save results (Save as -> detailed report). CPQDIAG.OUT - default name. P/N server info will be like this
"Number of OEM strings...1
1...Product ID: 382197-421"
