Prolian DL140 G3 Hardware Problem LED 10
Hi
I have a proliant sever but recently the System Health LED indicator turns on.
I opnen the server and watch the motherboard. It has the LED 10 ON in orange color.
This led is near SW4 NMI button and PWRCN3 24-PIN ATX processor power connector
Do you know what does it mean this alarm??
Do you know if a alarms reference manual exist??
Thank you in advance for your help

Re: Prolian DL140 G3 Hardware Problem LED 10
hi
this manual does not specify that LED
page 83
http://bizsupport.austin.hp.com/bc/docs/support/SupportManual/c00795598/c00795598.pdf
and also according with page 91 System health ON means either:
A pre-failure system threshold has been breached.
This may be any of the following:
â ¢ At least one fan failure (system fan or
processor fan)
â ¢ At least one of the temperature sensors
reached critical level (system or processor
thermal sensors)
â ¢ At least one memory module failure
â ¢ A power supply unit error has occurred.

Re: Prolian DL140 G3 Hardware Problem LED 10
Hi,
as far as I remember LED 10's normal colour is amber. Maybe someone with DL140 G3 can confirm...
