Prolian DL180 G5 Lost the ILO user name and password

Hi
I was wondering how I can reset the user name and password for ILO because it seems that whatever we put there does not work and I need to reset it without being able to login to it Via web page or CLI.

Reboot the server and press F8 at the iLO prompt. That will allow you to reconfigure your iLO without requiring a username and password.

The default username and password is also typically printed on a label attached to the server itself. If you have changed it then you can press F8 when prompted during POST and change it within this console.

However if the setting to force login at F8 prompt has been changed you will need to consult the server maintenance guide and reset the iLO security dip switch.

Dl180 uses the IPMI based Lights Out card, it is not an ILO.

Thanks for the replies.But I was wondering if there is a way to reset the password without rebooting the system and do it from the console.
