Proliant 1500, Only first 4 Ram Slots working...HELP.
Hi Everyone,
i??m running a Proliant 1500 6/133 with 128MB Ram (8*16MB Edo), however, only 64Megs of them are working.
Simm Slots 5-8 do not accept Modules, i can install them, but the server only counts 64MB at Startup. The Modules i use are okay, they function pretty well if i switch them in 1-4 Simm Slots.
I read the porliant online documentations, but find nothing about this problem. Is there a secret jumper or anything?
Please help, Win 2k with 64Megs Ram is terrible :-/

Re: Proliant 1500, Only first 4 Ram Slots working...HELP.
Hello Dominic,
It's possible that the Memory slots are bad and in that case you may need to replace the Board. Other then that there are no jumpers which need to be configured for your server to accept memory if they are compatible.
