Proliant 1600 Dual Processors
I have a Proliant 1600 for which i have purchased 2 * 450MHZ processors and VRM's.
I have installed one of them on my system but it still only reads as 300MHZ (OLD). Can some one please tell me which switches i need to set to make it see my new processors.
Main Board is :- 149089-001
Thanks in advance
Wullie

Re: Proliant 1600 Dual Processors
Try this
- Clear your NVRAM
- Put just one of the new processors and see if it picks up on post

Re: Proliant 1600 Dual Processors
When i set the switches on sw1 to on off on off the system will not boot looks like there is no power going through the server at all.

Re: Proliant 1600 Dual Processors
I have managed to borrow a newer cage to test teh processors in. All i need now is some SDRAM.
