Proliant 1600 HDD upgrade procedure

Hi,

I just got two 37.6GB Hot swap SCSI Ultra 320 10KRPM from HP to upgrade this Proliant 1600 server. The server has SmartArray2 running with RAID 1 running on two 4.9GB SCSI HDD. I was wondering if it's possible to add or replace these new HDDs to the server. If it's possible, how should I do it properly so I don't lose any data from the old HDDs. BTW, the OS is SCO openserver 5.

Thank you.

If you have a smart 2DH controller:
replace one drive, rebuild, replace the other, rebuild. use ACU to allocate the new capacity.

all other smart 2 series: backup, swap drives and create array, restore
