Proliant 1600 upgrade
I am trying to upgrade the video card in my proliant 1600 server. I have purchased a cheap PCI card - a pine 32mb 3d phantom model SiS 315E. When I put it into a PCI slot the server will not boot.
What do I have to do?

Re: Proliant 1600 upgrade
Jeff:
You need to set SW1 S1 to ON.
Here is the Maintenance and Service Guide:

Re: Proliant 1600 upgrade
Thanks for the advice. I have put the switch to on (disable) but the server still refuses to boot. Is there anything else that needs doing
