bit of a stupid question but it has got me stumped. I have a Proliant 1600 in a test environment. I have rebuilt the server a few times over the last few months. I need to rebuild it again but for some reason the server will not boot from and bootable CD's. I have tried a few different bootable CD's (Smart start 4.9, SS 5.2, NT Server CD's). When the server is booted it can read from the CD drive so I am pretty sure there is nothing wrong with the CD drive.
Am I missing something stupid here?
Thanks in advance.

SolutionYou can test this buy pulling a working CD-ROM from a workstation and plugging it in... if it boots... theory proved.
