Proliant 1600
Has anyone else encountered a problem with a 1600 not powering up? I have 2 systems (P2 350) and are sometimes like starting an old car, several pushes of the power button and eventually powers on. Sometimes will not power on and after disconnecting power button and reconnecting will power up after 3-4 attempts. Any ideas???

Re: Proliant 1600
Maybe something mechanically wrong with the power switch?
The truth is out there, but I forgot the URL..

Re: Proliant 1600
When you push the power button in, do you wait at all? Some Compaq servers do not turn right on. The power supplies sometimes take awhile to start up.
If I remember back to my Compaq tests, this happens since the power supply is testing itself.
