Proliant 1600

I have a Proliant 1600 (Proliant PL1600R 6/550). what is the maximum drive size I can place in there, as well as memory. What are the part numbers for these?

You can go upto 1GB Maximum, which means 4x256MB. I am not sure as to what do you have right now as for as RAM is concerned. Once you advise as to what is the current configuration of your system then I shall advise you the P/N for the RAM accordingly.

What about SCSI Harddrives? I have 512 Memory in there now (what it cam with).

Hello Troy,
RAM configuration means as to how many DIMMS do you have in there right now. Some have 4x128=512 or 2x256=512. If you have 4x128 then you would need 4x256 to reach the maximum of 1GB. Here are the part nos for RAM:

256 MB 100 Mhz Memory SDRAM DIMM-317749-001

For the SCSI HDDs here are the part Nos:

152190-001 = 18.2 Ultra 3 HDD
