Proliant 1850R & NVIDIA TNT2 M64 (32 MB) PCI Graphic Card
Hi,
I just bought a used TNT2 card so that I could improve the graphics on my 1850R. The card works as I tested it.
When inserted into the Proliant all I get is a flashing nVidia start-up logo in the top left of the screen, which loops endlessly with a beep in-between. The system does not boot past this point.
I have disabled the on-board card and the BIOS is the latest one.
If this card is not meant to work, is there a list of 1850R compatible cards somewhere? Here are my requirements:
1) it works in the 1850R
2) works under Solaris 10
3) has more than 2MB-4MB of memory so that graphics look decent
Let me know if you need any more info. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Wojtek
