Proliant 1850R and W2K

We are preparing to upgrade our Proliant 1850R to W2K, any words of wisdom from anyone who has completed this task?

Use SmartStart (5.5 or the closest version you got)assisted installation. Upgrade all firmware on the 1850R to the latest version before installing W2k

Using an assisted install will not work on a Win2000 upgrade.

I would recommend going to:
http://h18001.www1.hp.com/partners/microsoft/windows2000/whitepapers.html
At this page get the whitepaper titled "Upgrading to Microsoft Windows 2000 on x86 Servers". Then follow each one of the steps listed. The primer utility described in the document can be obtained by typing "primer" into the search bar on the top of the web page.
The truth is out there, but I forgot the URL..
