Proliant 1850R will not power up

I have a Compaq Proliant 1850R server that will not power up. I have replaced the power supply and motherboard, and it still will not power up. Any ideas? Please help!

Justin:

Do you get any video response?

Do you get any beep codes?

Make sure that you installed the PPM's for each processor(s) and that each is seated firmly? Make sure the processors are solid to the board.

Make sure the PCI Expansion Board is seated well and that the brace is secured to the chassis.

Do the fans spin?

let me know? -john
Enjoy!

John:

It turned out to be the power supply backplane that was bad. I replaced it and the server powered on. Thanks for the feedback.
