I install three memory modules in it, one 128mb pc100 and two 256mb pc100 but server show only 192mb of ram (64mb per slot).
What need to do to allocate all size of memory?

Re: Proliant 2500 (Pentium Pro) adding additional RAM
slowest in 1st two banks
biggest in last. (Not the last bank off total banks off course)
2#Dont mix the mem-modules. So even if you got 6 x 128MB modules, find the matching pairs and install them pairwise
If you own 6 different types of 128MB modules (like; they all have different amounts of chips) try to find matching pairs ;)
You will get into trouble using them..
3#Use memory designed for you system. So when it says 3.3v bufferd EDO 's.. thou shalt not use other mem, even if it will work at all

Then i tried to use couple of 256mbytes module and see only 128mbytes.
In this case only four slots and i already tried install modules in diff locations

3-free
::

3-free
:::
0-free
1-256
2-256
3-free

All modules is registered and ECC 2x256 previosly was installed into Proliant 1600 and successfully worked on it.
Have any more ideas?

Re: Proliant 2500 (Pentium Pro) adding additional RAM
In first link you are submitted i read next:
Memory
64 MB of ECC memory expandable to a maximum of 1 GB using industry-standard buffered EDO DIMMs
And do you know russian?
Well now i want to sleep and think hard. tommorow i'll go and get picture for publicly determinate what is it ECC EDO DIMM or anything else.
