Proliant 3000 ADU 1.5 Rev a Smart Array 221 NT4.0
I believe my configuration with 5 drives is RAID with mirror and spare. Had a failed drive 3 weeks ago and the controller did its thing. Replaced the expired drive and now receive a message on system startup that another one is on its way out. I did not originally configure the system. I have downloaded ADU 1.5 Rev-a. So that I could get a picture of where we stand and the current configuration, problem is it does not detect the controller and I believe it is probobaly due to missing drivers. I'm a little nervous about trying to load up new drivers for the controller & not knowing the exact current configuration. I'm thinking their is just enough of the controllers drivers still in place to perform the essentials, Hopefully...
Any advise on how to proceed would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

Did you try ACU (array configuration utility) I think it would be easier to find out your array configuration with it.
Try older versions of this software, because I don't know if the latest will detect your controller.

Wayne:
Have you tried the M&P patch to see if there is just a SMART threshhold error:
