Proliant 3000 Processor Heatsink Positioning
I just bought a second processor board off eBay, and whilst it's the same as my other one (same part number), the heatsink seems to be mounted differently. In my old one, the heatsink overhangs the processor, leaving the brown plastic on the other side exposed, whilst on the new one, the heatsink is the other way around, covering the brown plastic. Does this matter?

Re: Proliant 3000 Processor Heatsink Positioning
I had seen that in the past, it's a conspiracy between sellers and eBay to confuse buyers.
