Proliant 3000 drives in ML530
I just got a ML530, I already have a Proliant 3000 is there a way I can use the drives from the 3000 in the ML530

I Think if we can swape the HDD cage then it will work else no.

I think it depends on your Proliant 3000 model: earlier Proliant 3000 (with 300 MHZ CPU) models use 1.6 " drives and other Proliant 3000 models use 1 " drives.
You can use only 1 " drives in ML530.

Bear in mind that if the Proliant drives are 1" in size, they are probably Ultra3 drives (or slower). So all newer Ultra320 drives will run at lower speed if you plugin these drives to the same channel.
All the proliant 3000's that I've seen use the 1,6" drives though...
